Advocado-Broccoli Slaw

1 (12oz.) package broccoli slaw
1 Hass avocado, halved and peeled (pit removed)
1/3-1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
Salt and pepper
1 bunch scallions, sliced (option)
1. Place broccoli slaw in large bowl.
2. Add avocado to blender or food processor along with olive oil, cilantro, vinegar, and lime. Blend or pulse until smooth.
3. Pour mixture over broccoli slaw. Toss to coat.
4. Taste and season with salt and pepper, then top with sliced scallions if desired.

Chai Spice Protein Shake

ice cubes
1 cup Almond/Coconut Milk Blend
1 banana
1 Tbsp Earth Balance Coconut & Peanut Spread
1-2 tsp Chai Spice
1/2 tsp maca Powder
1 Tbsp flax seed
1 scoop of protein powder
a squirt of honey

Chai Spice Blend ingredients:
2 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground allspice
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp black pepper
(Mix together in an airtight container)
Mix ingredients in blender till creamy! You can easily make your own substitutions by using regular almond milk, almond butter or adding yogurt and/or a tsp of coconut oil. Play around with it. Hope you enjoy!!

Sea Salt Blends

Add 1-2 drops of essential oils to 2 Tbsp of sea salt in a dish and mix well. Allow to dry for a couple of hours. Mix in 1 Tbsp of dried herbs or spice. Add ingredients to a glass jar or bottle with a lid. Great oils to use: Basil, Rosemary, Thyme, Marjoram

Thieves Coconut Horchata

2 quarts filtered water
1 cup organic jasmine rice
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup organic maple syrup
1 cup shredded organic raw coconut
1-2 drops of Thieves Essential Oil
ground cinnamon
Nut Bag
Food Processor or high powered blender

Combine water, rice, coconut, vanilla, Thieves and 1/4 cup of maple syrup in a large glass container. Stir to combine then refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Pour mixture into blender. Blend until smooth. Strain mixture through a sieve, cheesecloth or nut bag into a large pitcher and discard pulp. Serve coconut horchata over ice and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional).

Berry Fresh Lemonade

1 lemon juiced
4 drops Lemon EO
5 drops Citrus Fresh EO
2 cups strawberries
2 cups blueberries
3-4 cups of cold water
natural sweetener to taste

Add Lemon and Citrus Fresh to the lemon juice. Puree berries and add to the lemon juice mixture. Stir well. Add 3 cups of water, stir and taste. If too tart stir in your choice of sweetener. Chill before serving.

Homemade Electrolyte Drink

1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
2 Tbsp raw sugar, honey or agave
1 Qt. Water
1 dropper of Young Living's Mineral Essence
Organic juice, any flavor or Ningxia Red

Combine the above ingredients and drink as necessary to restore vital minerals and hydration. Essential oils can be added instead of juice for flavor or it can be served plain.

Orange Cranberry Granola

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup coconut oil
1/3 cup raw honey
Combine in large pan on stove top. Heat on medium to high heat until sugar is dissolved. Once brown sugar is dissolved, add the following:
5 cups rolled oats (not Quick Oats)
3/4 cup cranberries
1/2 cup sliced almonds
5-8 drops of Orange essential oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Stir and incorporate dry ingredients well. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread mixture out on a large, greased cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 375 for 10-11 minutes. Let cool on tray. Stir it/break it up every once in awhile, while it cools. You can add nuts, dried fruit, seeds, coconut or whatever else you like.

Herb-Infused Olive Oil

8 oz. organic olive oil
3-4 drops of essential oil (Basil, Rosemary, Oregano, Tarragon, Thyme, Black Pepper, Lemon, Dill and Marjoram
Glass bottle
Combine the olive oil and essential oils in a glass bottle.
